British and American delegation arrives in Lagos for trade mission | The Guardian Nigeria News

A group of successful business leaders from the United Kingdom (UK), the United States (US) and Nigeria will share their knowledge and experience with an audience of business people today and tomorrow at EbonyLife Place, Lagos State.

The program, themed “Beauty, Business, Media and Wealth Creation Summit”, under the umbrella of EATOW (Embracing All Tone of Women), will seek to connect and cement business relationships between the diaspora community and Nigerians to promote the growth of Nigerian Export Businesses.

EATOW UK Chief Delegate Moradeun Adedoyin-Solarin said the aim of coming to Nigeria was to promote the growth of Africans and the program is not just for women.

Another British delegate, Brenda Emmanus OBE, a journalist with the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), said: “We realize that women of African descent in business and leadership positions are the pinnacle of success and development of the changing world we live in today. With a move towards placing African women in key roles, society recognizes the valuable contribution they make and the importance of having their voices heard.

“We realize that women of African descent face many challenges, but having people around you who can support and nurture you when the going gets tough makes the journey so much easier, which is why we we are here to empower Nigerians.”
