Under the auspices of Bank Misr (BM), the Egyptian Chemical and Fertilizer Export Council, in cooperation with the Egyptian Furniture Export Council, the Egyptian Trade Services Bureau in Tanzania and the Egyptian Exporters Association (Expolink) will undertake a trade mission to Tanzania from September 26-30.
Khaled Abu Al-Makarem – Chairman of the Chemicals and Fertilizers Export Council – said around 30 companies are expected to participate in the mission, stressing that the mission will include an introductory meeting for participating companies on the needs of the Tanzanian market and laws. related to investment and trade in Tanzania.
This is in addition to organizing field visits for companies to markets in Tanzania to determine product prices and market needs.
In addition, it will include bilateral meetings between businessmen and companies of the two parties, field visits by Egyptian companies to their Tanzanian counterparts and to the industrial zones where these companies are established.
Abu Al-Makarem added that a similar trade mission to Kenya is scheduled for October 4-8.
For his part, Mohamed Mageed – executive director of the Chemicals and Fertilizers Export Council – said the Council is expected to participate next Monday – in cooperation with the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), the Association of businessmen of Alexandria, the Merghem Investors Association and the Chamber of Chemical Industries — in a workshop on development and sustainability in Alexandria.
