MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Governor of Minnesota. Tim Walz leaves for a six-day trip to Europe to promote state enterprises.
The Democratic governor said he would visit the UK and Finland to promote trade with a focus on healthcare, environmental technologies, agriculture and education.
Walz will spend the first three days of the tour in London, then travel to Helsinki. He will travel with his wife, Gwen Walza pair of his cabinet secretaries and state trade office officials.
He will also be joined by more than 40 leaders from Minnesota businesses and organizations at various times during the trip.
