PACRA said its decision to move from paper-based trademark certificates to electronic certificates was made in an effort to keep up with technological advancements and stay innovative.

E-mark certificates will be delivered by email to the email address listed next to the service address. To ensure authenticity, e-mark certificates will be equipped with security features and a QR code.

However, certificates of deposit, certificates of registration and certificates of renewal will continue to be issued on paper (paper format). Only brand certificates will be issued electronically for now.
